About the client

Česká zbrojovka operates in the field of precision engineering in the fields of weapons for the armed forces of the army and police, as well as for sports and hunting purposes, products, parts and assemblies for the aviation and automotive industries, and special tools for engineering production.

The company is one of the world’s largest producers of handguns (pistols, rifles, submachine guns, shotguns and air guns), which it sells to approximately one hundred countries around the world. Since 2017, it has been part of the Česká zbrojovka Group.

Assignment description

We advocated the procedure that our successful projects are based on – starting with a thorough initial study and defining further steps based on its results.

We designed a survey of real customers overseas chinese in worldwide data at the company store in Prague and planned to obtain accurate data across Česká zbrojovka departments.

Both of these factors decided that we won the contract.

Our solution

We implemented the project in three steps:

  1. Entry study
  2. Goal setting
  3. The implementation itself

Entry study

The initial study lasted 4 months. As indicated in our tender offer, we based the project on an in-depth initial study . This included:

  • obtaining data from the client in Uherský Brod and Prague
  • keyword analysis
  • analysis of the current website – where users get lost and where they navigate well.
  • analysis from the Hotjar tool – how people singapore data move around the website, how they scroll on desktop and mobile
  • in-depth questioning in a brick-and-mortar store
  • analysis of the competition, specifically four websites of global weapons manufacturers.

The keyword analysis was also combined with  an expert analysis taking into account the specifics of the field , which involves significant how to use similarweb to maximize your business restrictions on what can and cannot be communicated or promoted on the Internet in relation to weapons.

In-depth interviews were conducted in the company’s store on Opletalova Street in Prague. We found out why specific customers are involved in the field, how they decide to buy a new gun, and what they expect from the manufacturer’s website. We took all the information we received into account when subsequently designing the structure of the new website.
