Research for fashion: choosing the most effective automated marketing tool

This study was conducted based on data from fashion clients. We collected average data from lingerie stores, children’s and adult mass market stores, and designer clothing and footwear stores. As in the previous study, we decided to evaluate the effectiveness of our flagship tools — mass and trigger mailings and product recommendation blocks.

The set

Product recommendations
Here we are talking about the tool in its pure form — recommendation blocks on website pages.

Product recommendations bring clothing and footwear stores an average of 5% of their total revenue, and the share of revenue among REES46 tools is 19%. The median ROMI for our fashion clients is 5,252%. In this study, we decided to show the median ROMI because some clients.

Have a ROMI of over 27,000%, but such a high ROMI is rather an exception.

Bulk mailings

Fashion clients mostly actively use bulk mailings in their marketing communications. 19% do not use the tool for various reasons, but plan to use it in the near future. As in the study for beauty stores, bulk mailings turn out to be the most effective tool for REES46 clients.

On average, our clients send 12 emails per month. The highest monthly are you happy with what people see value is 26 emails. All emails are customized, and they also use additional tools: for example, product recommendation blocks and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
